Grade 2 English Classes
This is a year not of big shifts in learning but a steady easing into deepening their language skills. Your child will broaden their grammatical concepts and further articulate their ideas in writing through reading passages and sharpening their answers in comprehension. The outstanding feature of the programme is to integrate all three components of grammar, reading comprehension and writing in a holistic manner.

Broaden the range of grammatical concepts with simple past, future and continuous tenses, a wider range of prepositions, subject-verb agreement with varying subjects and use of wh- questions, tag questions and more.
Develop understanding of more complex sentences through the use of a variety of connectors.
Engage in exercises and activities that deepen understanding of the concepts taught.
